The Let's Go Outdoors Youth Education Program is a developing program of FCA Outdoors that is designed to introduce and educate youth and families about the skills and safety knowledge needed to enjoy the outdoors as good stewards of God's creation. From hunting, fishing, shooting sports and archery to recreational outdoor activities, conservation and leadership, youth participating will recieve quality instruction and be introduced to skills and spiritual concepts that will last a lifetime. As a goal of the program, families and students from all socio-economic backgrounds, students considered special needs or physically handicapped will also have will have opportunities to participate. Listed below are the initiatives being developed that will be used across the nation. All Let's Go Outdoor events include FCA Outdoors' commitment to challenge the participants to live a life devoted to their families and Christian Faith.
FCA Outdoors Campus Program
School based Team FCA Outdoors Clubs known as an Outdoors Huddle for students who have interest, compete or participate in Sportsmen & Outdoor events and competitions. Complete with a 12 Month graded leadership program curriculum and summer camp opportunities.
FCA Outdoors Sports Programs
National FCA Shooting Sports Program (FCASSP) on local Campuses, Churches or as Clubs connected to local Adult Team FCA Outdoors supported by the Guide Certification Program allowing Coaches/ Instructors and volunteers to recieve official Shooting Instruction and Certifications.
National Archery Program on local Campuses or as Clubs connected to local Adult Team FCA Outdoors supported by the Guide Certification Program allowing Coaches/ Instructors and volunteers to recieve official Archery Instruction and Certifications. Partnering with NASP and Centershot where available.
National Fishing Program on local Campuses or as Clubs connected to local Adult Team FCA Outdoors supported by the Guide Certification Program allowing Coaches/ Instructors and volunteers to recieve official Angler Instruction and Certifications. Partnering with the Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail's Legacy Series. FCA Outdoors' Let's Go Fishing program for children is part of this overall initiative.
FCA Outdoors Community Programs
Family Outd or Days for communities with emphasis on reaching children. Ex. Children, Families, Coaches, Socio-economically impaired, Wounded Veterans or KIA families. Introducing youth and families to Outdoors Sports and opportunities.Examples include:
