My name is Ty Ford and I have been serving in FCA since 2016. First as a volunteer. Then as a full time Area Rep. I am the Chaplain for East MS Community College Football Team. I also character coach the rest of their sports team on campus. My wife, Hillary Ford, works full time as an Area Rep as well. We serve North Lauderdale, and Kemper Counties. We go to all the high schools and several middle schools to establish team huddles and multi sport huddles. We also own Camp Meridale, which used to be a Girl Scout Camp. But now we use it as a resource to glorify God through FCA team camps, FCA Outdoors camps, and rent it out to other groups as well. We live in Meridian, MS and have 3 boys. I have hunted and fished all my life and am a firm believer that Gods creation is a great resource for fellowship and strengthening others spiritually. Seeds planted into our youth while hunting or fishing beholds great potential to minister to them not just for a day, but an entire lifetime! That’s what has inspired me to be a part of FCA Outdoors. Anything I can be a part of that God uses to impact souls in a great way; sign me up! Not only that, but I have a blast serving in this part of the ministry too. It’s always been a part of who I am. Now I get to share it with others and watch God use it for His Kingdom and glory.
