Hi, my name is Averie Habas, and I’m honored to serve with FCA Outdoors in Northern Wisconsin. I’m a husband, outdoor enthusiast, and most importantly, a follower of Christ. I grew up in Ashland, Wisconsin, spending countless hours fishing on Lake Superior and developing a love for the outdoors that has stayed with me ever since.

In college, God used Fellowship of Christian Athletes to completely change my life. Through an FCA Bible study, I surrendered my life to Christ and was later baptized by our football team chaplain. That moment set the direction for my life and my calling to share the Gospel through both athletics and the outdoors.

Today, I’m married to my amazing wife, Autumn, and we live in Northern Wisconsin, where I’ve recently started bowhunting and continue to enjoy God’s creation in every season. My heart is to see coaches, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts experience the same life-changing relationship with Jesus that I did—and to know the Creator through the beauty of His creation.
